Our Service – Your Advantage

For many aircraft classics you can buy spare transparencies or entire glazing from our factory outlet. We have been managing and expanding a stock of tooling for several years. This is our service for our customers, because you have access to spare canopies or transparencies and do not need to worry about the tooling. Thanks to this service your spare canopy becomes affordable. Below you find a list of all available moulds.

You will receive your glazing cut approximately, hence slightly bigger than the final transparency. This allows for a precise fitting that can take into consideration possible irregularities of the frame. For many aircraft types the transparencies are also available with final sizes. Ideally the mounting on the frame is given to an expert workshop to avoid scratching or other damages.

Our Standard – Your Protection

For aircraft glazing we apply high quality Plexiglas®, which has been developped especially for this purpose. This material provides a high degree of protection from hazardous UV rays for pilot and interior equipment. The tansmission of only 1% of UV rays is very low and exceeds the requirements of the usual aircraft standards. A canopy , which is made of 3 mm thick sheets of this material, provides as much protection as an equivalent glazing, which is made of 20 mm thick average Plexiglas®. Moreover Plexiglas® is available in different colours, which maintain an appropriate transparency.
