Machinery Assets

Apart from several deep-drawing machines, the Josef Weiss Plastic assets include also some 3 and 5 axis milling machines.

Ovens, lining devices and numerous small machines finish off the listing. Most machines are customized to the requirements set by highest optical quality.

Deep-drawing machines are available for forming sheets of up to 2000 x 3000 mm.

The equipment for thermal forming is suitable for the forming of material thickness of up to 250 mm (acrylic glass) and sheet sizes of up to 3000 x 5000 mm.

Bending Radiuses over 3 m Length

One of the numerous customized machines in the machinery assets is an extra long bending machine. It is designed to bend radiuses over a length of 3 metres. Special radiators procure an even heating. Especially Makrolon® can be bend in best quality with this machine.

Flat parts optimized

The efficient production of flat parts is supported by a computer controlled sheet milling machine. This machine can mill sheets of up to 2050 x 3050 mm. The control of this 3 axis machine is trimmed for interlacing, which allows for saving material when many parts are milled from one sheet. Two processing steps, cutting-to-measure and contour milling are combined in one phase. On demand, the machine can place drillings, indents or threads. The high working speed makes the efficient processing complete.
