Engineered Parts made of Plexiglas®

There are basically no limits for the use of Plexiglas®. We turn your ideas and concepts into real products. Your part is manufactured on the basis of your drawings or 3D data. If requested we add our experience to your ideas and contribute to finalize the concept. Customized products are our daily business. Here at Josef Weiss Plastic you meet specialists. Perfect Processing

The range of processing methods available at Josef Weiss Plastic leaves nothing to desire. Cutting processes such as turning, milling or drilling are part of our daily business just as bonding, screwing or riveting. For the forming process we consider the shape in order to choose between surface or linear heating. Modern installations enable us to produce rationally small and big series.

Exhibition or Hotel

The products we manufacture in our workshops are just as varied as the processing methods. Sample products for exhibitions can become self-explaining, if you replace important elements by transparent parts. For example, transparent covers enable visitors to take a look inside a machine on the exhibition booth. Covers of this type are individually manufactured. Contours are milled precisely and drillings are placed. Entire exhibits can be manufactured from transparent material for your exhibition booth. For the equipment of your exhibition booth we make customized containers for example to present your give aways.

Display cases and brochure holders from Plexiglas® are standard products. These cases can either be placed standing on a surface or hanging on a wall. Presentation displays for Dallmayr are manufactured from satinized material, the logo is applied by silk-printing, the individual parts are assembled by bonding. These displays are used to present tea boxes in hotels.

Transparent Furniture

Some products are typically individual items. Furniture made of Plexiglas® such as display cabinets or easy chairs are manufactured by your individual input. Our know-how allows for the processing of thick transparent plastics, which is used for example to produce stairs.
Exhibits in museums or trade fairs can be protected with model covers, which are closed on 5 sides. They stand out due to their polished edges, which are also mitred and bonded. Some covers receive ventilation slots by nc milling.

Private exhibits such as model boats can also be protected from dust and unappropriate touching. For big boats we manufacture windshields. Our service might even include the making of the necessary tooling.

Material on Stock

Most of the material we need is available directly from our vast stock of sheets. Classic material, such as transparent, brilliant Plexiglas® is applied just the same as modern materials. A wide range of colours and satinized material is available.
