Makrolon® mono clear 099

Makrolon® mono clear 099 are transparent polycarbonate sheets manufactured by extrusion of a UV-stabilized polycarbonate material mass. They offer extreme impact resistance, even at temperatures between -100°C and +120°C.

The following DOT certificates have been awarded for materials of 3-10 mm thickness:
DOT-112, AS-6, M-101 – 3; – 10 mm.

Makrolon® mono is available in different colours.

Makrolon® mono longlife clear 2099

Makrolon® mono longlife clear 2099 corresponds to Makrolon® mono clear and is additionally protected by a UV coating which is applied to both sides.This protection increases resistance to long-term weathering effects and provides for sustainable mechanical and optical quality.

The following DOT certificates have been awarded for materials of 3-10 mm thickness:
DOT-12, AS-6, M-102 – 3; – 10 mm.

Makrolon® mono longlife is available in different colours.

When applied for vehicle glazing, the preference for one of these materials depends on the degree of the deformation as well as the forming technology.
