Plexiglas® Tubes and Rods

Tubes and rods made from PLEXIGLAS® show the same excellent properties as PLEXIGLAS® in the form of sheets or blocks.

Tubes and rods made from PLEXIGLAS® have high-gloss surfaces, are extremely light-transmitting, display unsurpassed resistance to aging and weathering, extraordinary break resistance, and are largely resistant to corrosion.
PLEXIGLAS® is the ideal material for decorative and technical applications that require transparency.

Ceiling lights or attractive accessories made from square or round rods are just a few examples for the application of PLEXIGLAS® rods.

Opt for tubes made from PLEXIGLAS® GS

• if you require particularly good transparency or appearance (gloss); examples: model making, precision engineering, exhibition objects;
• if the tubes need to be bonded;
• if a tube diameter of more than 200 mm is required;
• if transparent tubes are subjected to internal pressure;

or for

the particularly inexpensive tubes made from PLEXIGLAS® XT

• if the tubes are exposed to low internal pressure;
• if the desired diameter is between 5 and 300 mm;
• if greater fabrication lengths are required;
• if the tubes need to be especially easy to form; example: pipelines (dairy pipes);
• if white tubes (150 and 200 mm in diameter) are required at short notice.
