Vacuum and Pressure Forming

It all depends on the machine!

Both vacuum forming and pressure forming of transparent sheets are suitable for the production of parts, which require high transparency and outstanding optical purity. Our know-how enables us to manufacture even big parts with these properties. We can form sheets of up to 2000 x 3000 mm. Threedimensional technical parts, which shall be produced as small or middle series, are mainly formed on machines.

For the forming, deep-drawing machines of very different sizes are available. Depending on the size of the part we select the most cost efficient machine. Our thermo forming machines are equipped with integrated heating elements and allow for heating of the sheets on the spot. Hence each detail of the threedimensional shape can be formed precisely.

Compared to injection moulding, the forming of sheets is a cost efficient alternative for small series. Especially the investment in moulding tools is considerably less expensive. For the design and procurement of the tool you can rely on our experience.
